Three among the last four notable releases of Tollywood were inspired/copied/sourced from a foreign film. Dookudu's basic plot of son creating a fantasy world to keep his father's health in good condition is lifted from a German film Goodbye Lenin. NTR Jr starrer Oosaravelli too is copied from a Cantonese film Vengeance.

The recent release Pilla Zamindar is inspired from South Korean movie A Millionaire's First Love. Although all these films were copied/sourced from international movies, the directors ably adopted them to suit our audience tastes. Also none of these are blatant copies or complete rip offs of the original movies.

 This is the song " Adaraka Badhule cheppedi " from telugu movie " Athadu ", music composed by "Mani Sarma". This song is copied from two songs. The initial lines are copied from Tracy Chapman's "Mountains O Things" and the rap in the middle has been copied from Christina Aguilera's "Fighter".

This is the song " Nidharosthale " from telugu movie " Golimaar ", music composed by "Chakri". This song is entirely lifted from LOS LOBOS' "Cancion del mariachi", is also a title song for the movie "Desperado

 This is the song "1 2 3 Nenoka Kantri" from telugu movie "Kantri", music composed by "Mani Sarma". This song's total background music is copied and the lyrics are written according to the same background music which is copied from an English Rap song "Get Buck" by "Young Buck".

 This is the Comedy Scene from telugu movie " Neninthe ", directed by " Puri Jagannadh". This is inspired from 1995 movie " Assassins" direted by " Richard Donner.
